1.0 – 6.0 PSI Range. In-line regulator used to conveniently adjust fuel pressure according to demand with a turn of the knob. Recommended for use on older vehicles fitted with early type carburetors with low fuel demand and older type needle and seat configurations.

Traditionally, a classic car receives it’s fuel supply from a vane type fuel pump which gets activated by the rotation of the crankshaft during engine operation. Over time, these vanes tend to tear and stop pumping fuel. With most of the older type pumps it has become increasingly difficult to find replacement vanes and valves for overhaul and as a result, classic car owners fit electrical fuel pumps. Aftermarket electric fuel pumps usually operate in the 6 PSI pressure range, which is much too high for an older type carburetor with a worn out needle and seat.
